With an attitude somewhere between subtle haze, joy in volume and two ounces of anger in their stomach, WAR are blasting their way through the year.

They leave genre boundaries behind as well as any claim to live up to the eternally bourgeois expectations of the scene police.

Brutal drumming and rough stoner riffing create one supporting wall of doom after another. Spherical mantra patterns lose themselves in themselves, only to ultimately dissolve into the crumbling fuzz storm.

The main thing is to leave a lot of pressure in the stomach triangle. In some cases one or two punk elements cannot be denied. Polyphonic vocals with texts characterized by world-weariness criticize everything and nothing and suddenly slap concentrated social criticism against your stomach. 

This beauty comes as a split with the solo project DEIBEL from WAR frontman Arvid.
